Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through the Fuel Electronics Systems webshop operated by:

Our standard return period is 30 days from the date of delivery.
After 30 days from the delivery date, refunds or exchanges cannot be guaranteed.
Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- The item must be accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or order number).
- The item must not show signs of misuse, improper installation, physical damage, or unauthorized modification.
- Electronic boards must not be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD), incorrect wiring, or voltage overload.
Due to the nature of electronic components, items must not be altered, reprogrammed, or disassembled after delivery if a refund is requested.
Refurbished & Used Electronic Parts
Most products sold in our webshop are refurbished, tested, or previously used industrial electronic components.
Because of this:
- Cosmetic wear does not qualify as a defect.
- Items sold as “Refurbished” are tested before shipment.
- Returns are accepted only in case of confirmed functional defect.
We reserve the right to test all returned items before approving a refund.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Products sold “As Is”
- Special order or custom-programmed modules
- Software, firmware, or programmed memory components
- Items damaged due to improper installation
- Products returned without proof of purchase
Defective Products
If you believe the product is defective:
- Contact us at support@fuelelectronics.hr
- Provide:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos or video evidence
- Wait for return authorization before shipping the item.
Returned items will be inspected within 10 business days after receipt.
If a defect is confirmed, we may:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Issue a refund
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection.
If approved:
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is confirmed defective.
We reserve the right to issue partial refunds if:
- The item shows signs of improper handling.
- Parts or accessories are missing.
- The product has been used beyond normal inspection.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:

- Check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card provider.
- Contact your bank (processing delays may occur).

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If an exchange is approved, you will receive instructions for shipping the item to:

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The product is confirmed defective
- We specifically request return
We strongly recommend using tracked and insured shipping services.
We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
Core Return Program
If a product is sold under a core exchange program:
- The old defective unit must be returned within 14 days.
- Failure to return the core unit may result in additional charges.
- Returned core units must be complete and not physically damaged beyond repair.
Warranty Limitation
Unless otherwise stated:
- Standard warranty period is 30 days from delivery.
- Warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation
- Overvoltage damage
- Environmental damage (moisture, corrosion)
- Unauthorized repair attempts
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
